Hey I did it! My flash-o-red picture worked! We just bought a new laptop, and it's taken a while to get to grips with it. My computer expert husband has done a great job! We are visiting out daughter in Sheffield today and this was taken at a lovely little restaurant near Chatsworth House. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
This is a really nice composition Judith. I wouldn't have a clue how to do this. Did you take the pic in b&w and then add the colour of the other way round? I wouldn't have a clue
I took a colour photo then used Picasa and an application called focal black and white. It gives you a tool which puts the colour back into the centre of the picture.

Lovely shot Judith, I used to use this tool but the one on on Picasa, 'edit in creative kit' ( this is the new updated Picasa, then click 'effects' then 'black and white' and then click original and adjust the brush size, and for small detail you can zoom in the right hand corner. this is one I did. Hope you don't mind me saying as your shot is great anyway.
