Dunnock? by busylady

Dunnock?

I was up early this morning so took Betty for a long walk down to the Pightle. The birds and the rabbits were out and about. I think this might be a dunnock, can anyone confirm?
Not good on birds names at all Judith which is bad considering I have lived in the country all my life....she is busy building her nest & sitting on a thorny branch!!!

Dunno, Judith, but I do know that l've only heard the name "Pightle" once before. Lovely old English word ... there's one at Needham Market near here!

I don't know the bird but I like your shot very much. I'm a bit worried about the thorns on his little fet!
