It was Peter's birthday today so we had a day out to visit the home of Isaac Newton near Grantham in Lincolnshire. The house is now owned by the National Trust - Newton was born here on Christmas Day in 1642. The house at that time was that of a Yeoman's farmstead where they would rear sheep. It is furnished with borrowed furniture showing a typical farm house of the early 17th century. @cookie123 Actually not a climb at all as we entered from a car park at the top! The weather looks worse than it was - it was sunny when I took the picture and the dramatic sky was away in the distance.
