I went on a workshop recently and learned how to do free machine quilting. The tutor encouraged us to be wobbly with the needle and to go over lines twice so that even if it wasn't quite right it looked as if it was deliberate. We were all quite pleased with our cushions. Sequins and beads were added for effect or sometimes to cover up anything we just couldn't live with. It was a fun day.
this looks great, I must share it with my crafty friends if you don't mind, we are getting together over the year to make birthday and Christmas gifts as we feel it is all too commercial and are doing home made gifts this year,
@taz_o I'm sure it would - it was very random and mistakes were not really mistakes, we just went over them again and they looked like they were meant to be there!
