I'm feeling much better today - thanks for all your good wishes. My daughter took me for a birthday treat (my b'day was last month) to The Orchard in Grantchester on the outskirts of Cambridge. It's a lovely place to sit with tea and cake and while away the afternoon under the apple trees. We also had a walk along Grantchester meadows. The path goes all the way into Cambridge but we didn't walk that far. We don't often get the chance to spend quality time together so today was a real treat in lots of ways. I'll post a pic of the path along the river in another album.
Oh if there were three rowdy girls one was my daughter! She just missed the best of this morning's weather as well. Was there filming going on still in Granchester?
