Entrance to Trinity College, Cambridge

I'm sure I've posted a picture of this college before but this is a different view inspired of course by @judithg complete with the inevitable bikes. It was founded in 1546 by King Henry Vlll and is one of three royal colleges in Cambridge. Henry himself is resplendent above the gate holding a table leg - not a sword! There is some controversy over when the sword was switched.
It is a Judith mark II scene! Hope you met the other one for coffee!

Ah, I love all these college entrances in Cambridge. Probably told you before, but my brother lives there, so I've visited a few times. Great part of the world. Nice capture!
