King's Cross development by busylady

King's Cross development

I had a day out in London with three friends yesterday. This is part of the new development around King's Cross railway station There's a new swimming pond, some skip gardens, a water play park for children and lots of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. This is the start of the canal tow path which we walked along until we came to Camden Loch and market. The weather was perfect and we stopped for lunch along the way. In the evening we went to the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and heard symphonies 5, 6 and 7 by Sibelius, conducted by Finnish conductor Osmo Vanska.
3 good things -
1 friends
2 sunshine
3 being so close to London
I love those steps. They look so inviting to sit on. Sounds like you had a lovely day too with friends.

Gorgeous. I was here with @padlock @emmadurnford and @nicolaeastwood a few weeks back. It is amazing what they are doing to the area.

Sounds like a perfect day. We walked along there when we had one of the 365 meet ups but unfortunately the weather was not so kind!
