We visited this impressive windmill today. Standing at 24 metres tall it is the tallest windmill in Britain. We were given a most interesting tour, although sadly it is not working at the moment as the fantail is awaiting expensive repairs. It was in constant use until the owner retired in 1995 and is a listed building.
