Our first impressions of Hong Kong are to look up and be amazed at the awesome number of high-rise buildings. Actually across the whole of China we have been stunned by the huge number of high-rise housing. Because they have a vast population they also have a huge workforce and the building trade is thriving.
Great shot! They are amazing buildings but I think a week or two in high rise is enough! Like the luxury of my garden space too much.....even though it's a big project!!!
I didn't recognize Hong Kong when I was there a few years ago. I'd been there a few times in the 80s and early 90s, and then not til the recent trip. It was astounding and you've captured well that feeling over overwhelming numbers of high rises, packed right in together.
