Disappearing

I had to drop off some newspapers to my husband who is languishing in this heat in the local hospital. He's recovering from a knee replacement and this is the first day he's felt like reading anything at all. This is day 5 so it's been hard going so far! This lovely park is nearby so I took advantage of being in the vicinity for a walk round the pretty paths and waterways.
what a shame to have to be in hospital in this weather - hope he gets better soon!

Poor Peter he should be at home now...sounds like it’s been a big job with his knee! Lovely walk, you would enjoy it after your trip to the hospital....how frustrating too to only drop off!

A lovely summer's day image - love it .These knee replacement surgeries are not at all pleasant - but well worth it in the end - I do empathise with Peter having had both knees replaced . Best wishes !

Yes, the heat will be difficult for him, in hospital. We're not really getting it up here. It's low 20s. Good wishes to Peter for a speedy recovery.

A lovely capture, so peaceful. Hope hubby is up and feeling better soon, it is worth it and he will notice the difference as he gets better. All I can say is exercise, exercise, walk exercise, walk, after a few weeks it gets better!

@craftymeg thanks, I'll pass this on. He's getting very frustrated and it's not even a week yet. He may come home tomorrow, depends on the physio
