Monument, Promenade des Anglais

Along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice we came across this striking monument to remember the people who died in the tragic truck attack in 2016. 86 people lost their lives and 458 people were injured.
We're on our way home now, just half a day here in Nice, then an early train tomorrow. Hoping to beat the train strikes by getting back to London before 5.30pm.
