Musical box

I'm beginning to take the decorations down, but thought there was time for one more Christmas photo. This little music box was given to Peter's Mum about 70 years ago and comes out every year. There's a nativity scene and little angels playing their instruments as they go around, accompanied by the tune Silent Night, which of course is German. It was a gift from a very good friend who they kept in touch with for many years.

What a fantastic little music box. I started taking my decs down today. We bought a Norwegian tree this year, and boy did it lose its needles fast. We could hear them falling. It had to go promptly!
