Swampy by busylady

Swampy

This is the swampy area of Hinchingbrooke Park which I refererred to yesterday. It almost seemed I was in a different country, as there was so much water.
Thanks for all your kind comments and favs on my unusual duck capture yesterday!
When I see swamps like this I see snakes! Hope you didn’t run into any.

@illinilass We don't really get snakes in the UK. Just the occasional grass snake, and adders, but not usually in the swamps

It looks so soggy, I hope you were wearing wellies.
I didn't think snakes like Dorothy @illinilass but I did think mozzie heaven and Ross River and dengue fever. I know you don't get either diseases in the UK but they are a worry here

A lovely shot of what looks more like the tropics than England! Everywhere still very wet, and great care needed when deciding where to walk.
