Helsinki Cathedral and monument

Said the be the most beautiful building in Helsinki. It certainly looked very imposing behind Senate Square. The monument is a statue of Alexander ll, Tsar of Russia. He was assassinated in 1881, but he was loved by Finns. Finland was owned by Russia at the time and he effectively gave Finland back to the Finns.
