A riot of colour

We went visiting the open gardens in Hilton, in Cambridgeshire today. It was a mixed day for weather with some thundery skies, but luckily no rain while we were out. This was one of the gardens with a showy display of dahlias. It was such a lovely village, which we hadn't visited before. Tea and cake was available in the Methodist church so all in all a lovely afternoon .

I do like dahlia's , but they don't seem to last very long , glad you kept dry , we has rain and clouds this morning and the 3 hours of wonderful sunshine after lunch !!!
