Edith Cavell bridge by busylady

Edith Cavell bridge

On the way back to Arrowtown from Queenstown we came across this picturesque spot where they run the jet boats from. We didn't take the jet boat but it did look fun. You can probably just about see the boat going under the bridge. The bridge is so named because of Jack Clarke who lived in a small hut near here and wanted passionately to have the bridge named after her. He even painted a sign himself.
beautiful photo Judith looks something like a film scene fav

This does look beautiful -- the color of the water is beautiful. And the boat gives it such a sense of scale.
