Fields of yellow by busylady

Fields of yellow

This is Mount Cook and Mount Tasman from the west. We were travelling from Arrowtown to Franz Josef and this view just blew me away. I couldn't get close to the flowers as there was a climb down from the road and there were lots of Chinese tourists in the way! Thanks for all your lovely comments yesterday and for getting me on to the trending page - twice!
It is a beautiful scene... but don't get too excited about the yellow flower it is a noxious weed and a enemy to all farmers... but a great capture of the beautiful mountains..

This is stunning!! My 'view' of Mt. Cook several years ago was of fog and rain and no visible mountain at all. So it's really cool to see what it would have looked like as we were there about this time of year.
