On my morning walk I could hear a cardinal singing, but couldn't find him amongst the trees or anywhere. I had just taken a picture of an old rustic windmill. Which was going to be my photo for the day. Then the next time I heard him he was on top of the arm blade that juts out from the windmill. Still singing away. I couldn't decide if I should crop in like I did, or include the entire windmill wheel, but this is what I ended up with.
