Honey + Pesto

Into the pantry today. Would this be strange together? I see recipes for the two together, even honey pesto grilled cheese.

Honey pesto grilled cheese does not sound horrible. There is nothing better then local honey! Great half, and half.

I made a great pesto on the weekend - but I'm just not sure about that recipe ... hahahaha

@pamalama I think I need to try it to understand what that would even taste like. And absolutely YES to local honey. Hopefully next fall we will have our own. We will put our bees in our new hive in 11 days.

i would want a pure taste of pesto on my sandwich or pasta, but i would add honey to my lemonade. perfect for a fine summer day.
