Bought these roses at the weekend,because Roses make such good subjects with their endless swirls of petals! They are yellow, and that apparently makes them the rose of friendship, which I thought quite apt for this site! But, I thought the B&W showed the detail much better! Looks nice on black.
As a lover of colour especially in flowers ,I can not enthuse over your b/w rose although I can understand the merit of not having colour to distract from the detail of shape and form , which you have done so well !
