The whole garden looks tired. The maples are shedding leaves as if it is Autumn already.

It looks like a pear tree to me, by the leaves and the colours. Too early, true.

shedding leaves is how trees try to survive drought, less leaf to pump water to - this one does look sad

The one at the end of our garden has done the same. I think they struggled with that blast of heat.

I think it’s the heat. Many of ours here are in the same boat, sadly.

PlantNet says it could be Cotoneaster or chokeberry. It does look like a beautiful fall photo.

Tell me about it!! All the work we put into our gardens....I feel really sad to see some of our plants just withering away but we can't water everything. Had a little rain last night but nothing to soak the soil.

Probably just too dry. I'm having to water our newly planted tree at church at least twice a week as the leaves are starting to turn brown
