Enid, which is what the front 5 aircraft of the Red Arrows Display Team are called, were practicing over Scampton this morning. The temperature was still around zero when I got there around 10am & it was jolly cold ( the airfield is on top of a ridge & it is always windy at the best of times!
This is them looping back on themselves, trailing white smoke.
Fabulous capture and tones. They were here last year but I missed them because there where throngs of people everywhere to watch them and all the roads leading to the coastal area from where one could see the show where completely jammed with traffic. I gave up, made a u-turn and returned home.
