Today we visited Belton House, near Grantham. This was taken looking from the Orangery across the fountain formal garden towards the house. We kept in the shade as much as possible as it was rather warmer than of late at 30°C, the car actually said 40°when we got back into it, but settled at 30 once we got going! Spent a pleasant 3 hours or so here.
What a lovely place to visit. Looks like a beautiful day. As your weather is hotting up ours is cooling down. Nice during the day for winter, around 20 degrees but cooling down to 10 at night. I don't like the cold.
@pusspup they do don’t they. Main problem being we aren’t geared up for it. Air con is something very few people have & our houses are designed to keep in the heat, because generally we are not a hot country ….
