Farm land next to what was once RAF Faldingworth, one of many bases, where Lancaster Bombers took off from in Lincolnshire & where nuclear bombs were housed during the Cold War. You would never know, looking at this scene now.
Today Lincolnshire has been battered by heavy showers & strong winds. I liked the sense of movement in this shot.
This is beautiful and yes, it's beauty would lead you to believe it was always this pretty and peaceful- not home base for the air force and a storage area for nuclear bombs!
