@gazzatron Thank you Gary. I was very happy to be able to post some photos of Cuba, but of course they were taken before I enrolled in the project. Therefore I welcomed the occasion of the yellow collage that did not request the picture to be taken within a certain interval of time. If you go I will give you some unrequested advice!
@mbrutus I couldn’t wait to share some of them. As you can imagine I have taken hundreds of photos. There is no place more photogenic than Cuba ( or perhaps there is Mexico: waiting eagerly for your reportage!). And you would enjoy Cuba because of the mixture of cultural and political issues that add interest to the architectural and natural beauties
@caterina unfortunately there has been recent gang violence lately near where we are going, so we might not get away from the resort too much except for one planned visit to an archeological site.
@mbrutus that’s really a shame! There are such beautiful natural parks all over the Yucatan peninsula with a paid entrance, so perhaps you’ll be able to visit also one of them. Of course the archeological sites are fascinating. Sometimes I think of how many places that I was lucky enough to see are now off limits because of war or other kind of violence. So sad. When are you going to Mexico?
@stimuloog thank you for all the comments and fav’s! I really appreciate them. And yes you should go to Cuba. It’s beautiful and colorful and interesting. In addition it is easy to reach with one of the many charter flights leaving from Europe and it’s also cheap.
