Our skyscrapers...built in 1100. Both had a defensive function and are among the few that survived out of more than a hundred. The taller one, 97 meters is called Asinelli (or little asses) the smaller is only 47 meters high and is called Garisenda. It is possible to walk to the top to admire a magnificent panorama of the city On black, please!
Magnificently photographed -- and I know it isn't easy to get this kind of beautifully captured images because I try every year. I love your processing and black and white choice. Sigh. I miss Bologna, and I miss our time together all over northern Italy!
