Classic telephone

NF-SOOC. A good old fashioned black rotary phone. There was a time when everyone had a phone just like this now land lines are disappearing.

Great reminder of how telephone communication used to happen. I grew up on a farm where we had a party line: three rings it was for us, two rings for the farm before us and so on. How things have changed.

My parents installed a phone at home in 1966 which was a party line with someone (who we didn't know) at the end of our road. The phone was not quite as big and heavy as the one pictures........but was a rotary dial.....I actually had a rotary dial phone in my house until 1984 (when it 'died') and it was replaced with a push button one.

That's a really old one with the round dial. Great comp in black and white.

@ludwigsdiana This isn’t my phone, it’s part of a historical display. As far as I’m aware rotary dials are completely obsolete now.
