Dream of the River

That is the name of the sculpture. It is composed of the ribs of a fishing boat and the vertebrae of a salmon and represents the connection of Steveston to the fishing industry. It was a foggy day and it helped seperate the subject from a fairly busy background. There were many crows flying around and I waited for one of them to fly into my shot

@ljmanning I absolutely did not. It would have been easy to do with generative fill but I waited for the crow to fly into the shot. There were quite a few flying around.

Such a beautiful way to overcome a busy background. Seems that it must have been an unusually large salmon. ( Or is it a stone representation of a salmon vertebrae?)
