Now the entire block thinks I'm nuts. Somebody even slowed down in their car - maybe they thought I had found something wonderful in the front yard. Again, I must buy a larger mirror to really show off the clematis and front door but this is it for now - with all it's flaws. Surely I don't really have b&w hair or double chins....
I am excited because tonight I am going to The Pub at Rookwood to accept money and baby items from a young professional's group on linkedin. I run an outreach for mothers in need of help in our area. I started about seven years ago at my church having "baby showers" for the young mothers at our local high school (I graduated from there in another decade) and it has grown into two Open Houses a month for folks to come to get one new outfit, diapers, wipes, toiletries, a book, a toy and several gently used outfits. We average about 40 families a month. Last year this was a big fund raiser for us and I left with a fist full of money and a car full of baby items. I am hoping tonight is as successful.
You did it! Everything is in focus! So happy for you! I hope that your event tonight is a huge success. What a wonderful program for people who really need it.

I'm thinking 1950s movie star with this shot! There should be a special award for 365 embarrassing incidents. Great job with the fund-raising - there is clearly a great deal of need.
You are thinking that Judith because I was born in 1951. And the little girls trying to see if I was alright while getting a shot of dew on the grass still is my most embarrassing. At this point, I am looking forward to what else I can get into
