I have to mention that it has been an eventful 24 hours. Get Dot collected $270 last night for Baby Bear!! That is a lot of diapers! My Mom's are going to be very thankful. I also had a friend of mine go to a closeout type place and present me with 124 pair of new shoes. Can you imagine what it is like to have never gotten to pick out a pair of shoes? I have little ones like that. So it has been an exciting time Baby Bear.
In the mean time that beautiful little Cardigan Welsh Corgi that I love so very much - bit me. The little devil was humping her brother in front of the little one next door (it is a dominance issue for dogs - really) I grabbed her by the collar and in a New York second she bit my forearm. So I had go go and get a tetanus shot and some antibiotics. Which means I outed her and the guy was just here from the Health Department and she is in quarantine for 10 days!!
I volunteered at our local Food Closet this morning and that is always a time of attitude adjustment for me. I don't do it very often, I am the fill in person, and it is hard. So many folks in need. So when I got home I was thrilled to see that one of my Day Lilies had opened. A gift.

Oh my gosh what a day...hope you are ok and that you rested overnight! The colours in this are just wonderful and doctor Phil recommends that you enlarge it and gaze at it, breathing deeply for a whole minute. (!)

Beautiful shot of a beautiful flower! You have such a generous, giving heart and spirit. You will surely be blessed for all the good that you do. One day I hope to be able to do volunteer work again, perhaps when I retire. For now, I just do not have enough time.

I am so behind today - out for a lot of it and then with the darned mirror again. Thanks for all of your kind remarks. Please, I am not near a good person - just have time on my hands that I volunteer. I need to keep busy for my head and my heart. Raided my neighbor's garden this evening. They are moving and offered up anything I wanted!
