I love the wide angle lens. We went down to the Museum Center at Union Terminal tonight to see the Pompeii exhibit - which was wonderful. I took a lot of shots that I was going to share with you but had to use the wide angle shot of the terminal itself. I am so happy with this lens and have gotten little time to try it this summer with our extreme heat. Tonight it is really breezy and in the low 70's. Feels like Fall.
Thank you for all of your comments. I will really try to catch up to myself tomorrow.
Beautiful pov, Cathy! So this is how a wide angle lens looks ... stunning. Did you use the tripod for this one ... just wondering. Gorgeous work. I am way behind too ..can't seem to catch up anymore!
@jenniferruge Thanks Jennifer. It is such a cool old building. @maggiemae It was when built in '31. Now it houses our museum center and serves a few passenger trains. @jillmstruss Thank you Jill. @calm it is a gorgeously symmetrical building. @amandalomonaco yes, I'm keeping it. If we ever get together I'll let you take a look and you'll see why. What aren't you sure about the new camera? @karenann definitely a tripod on this one. @pawar_ramesh thank you Ramesh.
So this is where you saw the Pompeii exhibit! Okay! This is a very pretty view! What lens do you have that is wide angled? And...speaking of summer heat. Don't you hate it when you take out your camera and your lens fogs over so you cannot shoot? Ugh
@vickisfotos Thanks VIcki. I love night shots. @espyetta Luckily this was the night that we had almost what felt like Fall temps. I got the lens and haven't used it much as it has been so stinking hot. It is Tamron 10-24 and I love it.
