Maggie had a bath last night and she is still a little miffed at me. Tomorrow we are expecting company. I've been on an internet Corgi group for about 12 years now. Corgi folks are fun. Their was a picnic last weekend in Raleigh, NC that drew about 135 two leggers with about 155 Corgis of both kinds. We didn't make the trip (have in the past) but several folks that did are going home by way of Cincinnati. We are expecting two women from Texas, one from Wyoming and one from Kentucky - and tree fluffy corgis (this denotes a coat, like Maggie's, that is too long for the show ring. So I hope to be showing some shots of my "friends" and some very cool dogs. Maggie's "boyfriend" Jayke will be here tomorrow! I love the internet. These women are important to me - just like my friendships with all of you.
yep, that is the sort of disparaging look my teenage son gives me when I pull rank on them.
We had a corgi when I was a child, she was from a breeder who didn't want her because she was somewhere between long and short haired.
Loved my brother and basically spent her time following him around on his bike when he was a little boy. Have a lovely time with your corgi friends. Mags will know it was worth the whole bath thing when she sees her man
she has the expression of those present-day teen-agers when they feel embarraased that their mommies are bragging about them, like the eyes rolling, as if to say, 'come on, mom!' but i'll go with sunglasses, too! nice portrait.
fun shot! She actually does look a bit miffed...but she will fully understand when her friends arrive and will be happy that you made sure she is at her best!
What a wonderful story! She looks like she's anxiously waiting for the company ... isn't it amazing how you meet people just through hobbies, etc. That's the wonderful part of the internet!! Gorgoeus photo of your girl there ....I have always loved those eyes.
