I really did just have the most fun with a camera - which is how Chrysta Rae's Scavenger Hunt is billed. I was really proud of myself. This is the first time that I got to participate - thanks to Elke Hochban - and I loved it. I missed the first week because of my surgery but was more than happy with my shots.
Hat on the Bed are supposed to be a symbol of "Bad Luck"
My "Drop" shot is from that trusty vine I grew that never did flower.
Charlie happily agreed to be the model for "Exhausted"
My very favorite Swan Prince stood up for "Feathers"
What is a city girl to do with the word "Horse?" I went to PF Changs to nab that guy.
Maggie cooperated on "Mother Nature What Were You Thinking?"
My tiny "Red" flower that I planted from gathered seed was the moody model for "Red"
My gorgeous rust colored Mums did a great job of transforming themselves to "Black and White"
My Fathers tools came in handy and I used his poising tool for "Triangle"
And, last but far from least, I got this shot at the International Fireworks Competition at Coney Island for "Spark" This one got me an Honorable Mention which I was over the moon about. This is open to 500 photographers from all over the world for one month.
Well done you!!!! A bit nerve racking to participate in your first competition, I haven't plucked up courage yet! keep looking at the pair challenge thing but daren't!
