Word of the Day - Carnation by cdonohoue

Word of the Day - Carnation

It was in the teens last night in The "Nati. There isn't a flower to be had out in my frozen flower beds. I guess I could have gone out and bought myself some pretty flowers, but it was just the holidays and with our trip coming up money is already spent in other areas. So I had to improvise. And since I had to improvise I had to play with it a bit, also. So this is my "Carnation" with a bit of a Fairytale Wedding theme thrown in for the heck of it!
Well done for finding some Cathy, you will see from my post that I couldn't get any in our village!! Very nicely done.

I went with Carnation milk too. :)

Love the effect to elevate a can of milk to more that it is.

Reminds me of Warhol
January 3rd, 2013
Yes, agree with Sharon above, rather Andy Warhol! You have done well to make such a fun shot out of humble Carnation milk!
January 3rd, 2013
Now I see why Carnations are showing up everywhere! Very clever!!

@amandalomonaco I don't know if Tom will get home in time to bring me. I really haven't driven down town in ages. He is working all kinds of crazy hours as we leave for Maui on the 19th! I want to so I'll see what I can work out.

Never thought about the tins of Carnation in my pantry. I ended up using the Google Images page and taking a photo of my laptop! Far too hot at the moment for any flowers to survive very well past the bud stage. Great photo!
