This is one of the toughest shots for me in a long time. The word today is garnett. This is one of my favorite pendants. I have quite a few silver necklets (this one is hammered silver that I got in Savannah years ago) and more than a few pendants that I rotate around. I love this pendant with the moonstone and garnet on top with a really unique bale. But the moonstone and the silver kept flashing back at me. I must need some kind of special lighting for this. I certainly admire jewelry photographers a lot more.

It is pretty good this photo of your beautiful piece of jewellery but I would also like to know the secrets of displaying pieces to their maximum! I will have to google!

You captured it extremely well, Cathy and it is a lovely piece of jewelery. I have the same problem photographing the shiny bits of cars. BTW, it was 72 here yesterday and everyone was wearing shorts!
@soboy5 I tried to photograph my car the other day for something and was totally thinking of you and a new found respect with what you can make a photo of a car say. I gave up!
