Feet

How would you like to wear shoes like that, having some guy nail them to your feet - and changing them depending on what kind of surface that you will be walking on.
These guys weigh just about a ton. It was so amazing to reach back and pet an animal and just so totally feel the muscles under my hands. I've never really been around horses - let alone ones that I had always admired during tv commercials.
Awesome showcase of this clydesdale's feet and shoes. I cannot image! Nice shot!

Excellent shot of this interesting detail in close-up Cathy! I love 'cart-horses' and my particular favourites are Suffolk Punches - smaller than most but incredibly strong and sturdy and apparently the original knights' horses of days of yore!!

It's a good thing these fellows are usually gentle. Can you imagine trying to shoe one of these behemoths if he were skittish!

Wow, Cathy this is a terrific shot of those mammoth feet. It is really very detailed. What an experience it must have been.

Great composition. And I don't think I would like wearing those shoes at all. It seems like it hurts to me.

Gorgeous shot and reminds me of the dray horses that used to pull the beer in Devizes (I don't know if Wadworths brewery still use them though)

Really nice shot. I feel the same way about horses... my wife was around them a lot as a child, but I've spent very little time near them. Awe-inspiring. And the Clydesdales are so cool.
