I took some way better quality shots today - in fact, rather a lot of them. But guess who came to dinner! We put a hummingbird feeder up on Saturday. Tonight was our first guest. I was really wondering how they might find out we had one. I am beyond excited and realizing just how much I need to learn to really capture one of these. But at least they know we are open for business and this little one can tell his friends.
What a feeling of accomplishment that must be! I saw a hummingbird hovering over a flower in the school garden and was thrilled. There was no way I could have gotten my camera up and focused before he darted off.
@vskolnik I was so thinking of you when I shot it - through the window and screen and with the macro lens that was on my camera. I hope to come somewhere even in the ballpark of your incredible stop motion shots of these beauties.
