I have been trying to enter the low key theme all week with one disaster after another. Or, like yesterday, just a marvelous day that deserved to be journaled just the way it was.
In reality this is a very pretty salmon geranium destined for the garden. I shot it in very low light and then played with it. I tried the different room trick with one failure after another. But I want to play the game so here is my entry for the low key theme.

I kept reading on the net how to do it with an indirect light source like from another room but had no luck whatsoever. I used a black background behind the watch in a very low lit room and then used a filter on it in Lightroom - my favorite new toy, @jackie8 Thank you Jackie. It is Saturday and I've been at it all week.
