This is for today's thumbnail challenge. I got up early, for me, and took the sun (what is more yellow than that during our baking heat wave) shining through a yellow rose which now, several hours later, is drooping in response to our 99 degrees.......
Gorgeous dof and color! Beautiful photo for the challenge. The heat is terrible here too ... have a "heat alert" today. I am wilting and also running out of photos for fillers. And if you go out, the mosquitoes are ready to attack!
Ooh love the angle, focus and colour on this. And I'm not a bit jealous you're having a fab summer while we have more storms forecast..... It's a shame we can't share it all out!

We have had some pretty intense storms from the high heat and humidity but not enough to combat the heat. It is just way too hot. 100 again today for us. @jesperani We would love to share. The heat is doing us all in - but you are right and we need to share some sunshine in return for some of your rain.
