This rose bush was here when my Mom and Dad bought the house. That means that it is at least 62 years old as they bought it the year that I was born. It was neglected for many years - just something to mow around. When I got into roses we started babying it. These little blooms are actually about quarter size - really pretty tiny.
Thanks to all of you that have been following the drama in my life. I had a call from Michael before and it was the most positive one yet. They had a good talk this morning about the directions that they want to go in - together if at all possible. Thank you for your prayers, loving thoughts and good wishes. They work. Don't stop!
It's as beautiful as you are!
I've been thinking about you and hoping things are moving in a positive direction for your family. I'm glad to hear they're at least communicating! It's a great place to start!
So sorry Cathy I keep missing your posts so had to scroll back a bit to catch up. Sounds much more positive about your little family in Indy, my prayers for you & them that they will come through this together. So much help now out there so glad they are taking advantage of that facility.
We as parents never stop worrying about our children & we can only wait in the wings. My two DIL don't get on & that is a great sorrow to me & I really worry about it but nothing I can do but two sons still get together so that is the main thing!
There are far worse situations than my little worry!!!!
Lovely mums rose & sounds like you live in your old family home...how wonderful!
