My Prince by cdonohoue

My Prince

I'd have to go back through my project to see how many times that I have shot this guy. I love him. So, with a new lens I had to go and see what I could get. He was across the lake from me and I can see the feather floating on the water. I don't get the great definition in his wings that I get with something else but maybe that is normal with the 50 500?
Such a beautiful capture. Love this wonderful swan.

You have to show him to me. I didn't see him when I went. He IS a handsome prince. I wish I had a swan like neck! Ok, that might look a little weird on me;-).

Really nice Cathy. The soft sleek lines of the swan against the textures of the rock with that nice reflections make this a terrific shot!

Love the ripples in the water! How do you like the new lens? Is it heavy?
September 9th, 2013
@timandelke Yes. It is heavy. I went yesterday afternoon to play with it. I also got a monopod that is aluminum so very light weight and I was getting sharp in focus shots. I've got some more playing to do to get the hang of it. But I could read a tombstone really far away!
