I have been trying some different effects with some of the game photos I've taken this week. This one taken during my grandson's game today of one of his team members attempting to make a play after receiving the ball.
What a great action shot! The position of the defender and the timing of the shot is excellent. It makes the view wonder whether the defender or the ball carrier prevailed.
@tdaug80@rhoing@photographycrazy Thank you for your comments! Since you viewed it, I took it into Picmonkey and did some selective coloring. I would be very curious to know if you like it better as it is now or as the original full-color view.
Excellent action shot- fast moving games like this are not easy to photograph! The sc does help to isolate the players. Since I didn't see the color version I don't know how much they were blending into the background but this seems to be a dramatic and effective way to highlight that split second of play.
