Wednesday Afternoon at the Park by chejja

Wednesday Afternoon at the Park

My favorite local park- Topeekeegee Yugnee (TY) Park in Hollywood, Florida. Topeekeegee Yugnee means The Gathering Place in the Seminole language. Every time I go there's either different wildlife, different people, or a little different view to photograph.
Fantastic composition for the tree trunks!!

So glad that you are back participating in the get pushed challenges, Caroline!
I really enjoyed taking a peek at your albums and appreciate the way you have laid out your get pushed challenges in one album! Very nice!
So - going through all the challenges issued to you I noticed that you have not done a whole lot of still life photography. (except when you first started get pushed so it's been a while)
Your challenge is to make a still life using at least 5 objects and photograph it using natural light.

@farmreporter Thank you for the warm welcome back. I enjoyed looking through some of your albums as well and will be going back to comment on some photos. Your challenge- How about some closeups of architectural detail? For ideas see https://www.discoverdigitalphotography.com/2011/architectural-detail-photography-tips/

Sounds very good, Caroline! Will keep my eye open for interesting buildings!

Caroline-
My desktop computer that I do all my work on got a Trojan virus this past week so I will not be able to post my architectural detail photos in time for the end of this week's get pushed challenge.
Though - I did get some taken! Will post and tag you when I get them up.

@farmreporter These things happen. Understood. I'm looking forward to seeing your responses when you do get a chance to post.

Hi Caroline. I'm your GP partner this week. I'd like you to try a forced perspective image. If this is not acceptable please let me know so I can give you another challenge.

@randystreat Hi, Kathy. Glad to be GP partners this week. I was looking through the last few months in your albums. Can you do a photo of an animal? It could be a friend's pet, an animal seen outside, a bird, a bug, any type of animal. If this won't work for you, let me know.
February 1st, 2022
@chejja I will do my darndest. Thanks for the challenge.
February 1st, 2022
@randystreat I'm so sorry, I never got around to doing your previous forced perspective image challenge. I was trying to come up with an idea I could do and the time just got away from me. I'll see if I can do that as well this week and tag you, even though it will be too late for the challenge.
February 8th, 2022
@chejja I understand completely. Look forward to seeing it.
