Green has become my favorite color…in just about any shade. I got my nails done yesterday and wanted something with an AUTUMN (sept23words challenge) feel. I loved this shade and the fun matte finish on my party fingers.

I recently started getting structured gel manicures. I’m pretty hard on my hands and hate seeing my chipped and often broken nails in photos and videos. I also had a bad habit of biting my nails or picking at hangnails. I tried going to a nail shop but was overwhelmed by the process and volume of clients coming in and out of the shop. After a bit of research I found a tech that schedules dedicated sessions and guides me through designs and different techniques. It’s become valuable me time. I use to think getting my nails done was a frivolous expense but I understand now. I feel good when my hands look polished…and I’m pretty sure my wedding rings shine a little brighter when my nails are done.

I’m back to start a new 365 Project. It’s been years since my last full year…and I lost my photos as a result. 😭
