Great job with the exposure in this shot. You were able to get the details of the shade and the soft light being given off by the lamp without blowing out the actual light.
@mainebrighteyes - Thank you Laura. I sort of didn't know it was going to turn out like this. I adjusted my settings and just took this shot without even looking through the viewfinder. :)
@clarkafb_brat - Thanks John. I thought using a 1/2000 shutter speed was going to make the photo far too dark. Instead, it let in just enough light for a good shot.
