This plant is called a Red Surprise, a flower that opens up when the sun is out. Sadly it didn’t open today, or maybe I missed it. I’m guessing it’s lonely without any other blooms around.

@triciaodonnell - Thanks Tricia! My dad planted these a little while ago and not sure how hard they are to grow. Maybe you'll be able to grow them someday.
