I sincerely thank you all for visiting and commenting on my project! What’s interesting about the way these ties are stacked is that they are actually side by side, overlapping each other, but the shallow DoF really emphasized the stacked effect.

@aspada - Thanks so much Amy! I really did not expect the optical illusion. I just decided to shoot at a low aperture setting and when I brought it up on my computer was surprised with how cool it looked.
