(Day 41) - Colorful Refraction

Today I wanted to try using this background in a refraction shot. I liked the results except for the distracting glare at the bottom. I tried different angles, even shooting later in the evening, but it got even worse! Guess I’ll have to figure out how to cut down the glare another day. Regardless, it was still fun to photograph!
still very cool! love the colors :)

Nice shot. I can see what you mean about the glare, but I don't think it detracts too much from the overall shot.

Well done Chris - nice job capturing the distortion. This type of shot is in my bucket list - though I have not done nearly as well as you.

@harveyzone - Thanks Tom! Was actually very close to not uploading it but the colors were too cool not to pass up. Glad to know the glare doesn't detract too much.

@kimshots - Thank you! I found that manual focus and a higher aperture value worked best. Hope you're able to check it off your bucket list one of these days! Looking forward to seeing it!

This is a fun and colorful shot. I don't mind the glare especially since you see the ray of light coming into the shot.

@rhos -Thank you so much for kind remarks and the fav!

@falcon11 - Thank you so much Allison! I didn't think about the appealing aspect of where the ray of light was coming from.
