It was another gloomy day but perfect for taking photos so I spent some time in a local park this morning. The park recently fixed up their rose garden to include a variety of flowers. Most of the flowers were dormant, but the azaleas were bursting with color! In fact, azaleas grew really well all over the city this season. Since it's Macro March my focus was trying out some macro captures. Loved the shallow DoF here. Almost immediately after taking this shot, the rain poured down extremely hard, so I ran to the car just in time to save my camera from sustaining heavy damage from H2O. I believe that may be the last bit of rain we'll get for about another 500 years...haha kidding :}
Big hearty thanks for the nice comments guys! :)
