Was seriously lacking motivation today. It all started with my goal of capturing an insect shot. Maybe I was wearing repellent or something because I couldn't find any! I did find a white butterfly, but it high-tailed it and then I found a wasp but it was flying two high up for a macro shot. As the sun was setting, my motivation sank with it. Then I saw this little spider toy hanging out in my room, which I saving for a photo. But hated the shots I took of it. Maybe I was losing my sanity, but swore I could hear all the little insects lurking in the shadows laughing and mocking me. In disappointment, I turned away my lamp that was illuminating the toy spider, but saw how cool and mysterious the shadow covering it looked. Before I knew it, my motivation was back and I was shooting away. Take that insects, this rubber one sure showed you....okay, now I'm talking to the insects :|
